Maypole Standards of Service

These are the expectations our customers have of us and that we will fulfill.

All Maypole employees will seek to fulfill this standard of service and we will monitor our success.

We will not be satisfied with our company's performance unless all of our customers have received this standard of service every time they order.


  1. Every flavour listed as available for sale on our Product List will be available for purchase when a customer orders it.
  2. Invoices will accurately reflect what the customer ordered at the customer's set price. In a dispute between Maypole and the customer over what was ordered, the customer's word will be taken as correct.
  3. All products will be loaded correctly for delivery so that the driver can deliver the product that was ordered.
  4. If a customer has been shorted a product they are to be recompensed in a manner suitable to the needs of the customer. This may include substituting product, sending another flavour at no charge, and sending a special delivery to the customer as soon as possible.
  5. Customers will purchase product that is the same every time. Each flavour will have the same colour, taste, and weight, texture and evenly distributed ingredients every time the customer purchases the product.
  6. When customers phone the office they will be greeted in a friendly, courteous and professional manner. Their questions regarding product or service will be answered clearly and with as much detail as they require.
  7. When customers accept delivery of product they will be treated in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
  8. When service problems arise, the customer will experience the solution to the problem without experiencing conflict between departments or personnel at Maypole.
